Private Training




Private Sessions offer personalized, one-on-one or small group training designed around your individual goals and experience level. Private sessions are available to both members and non-members, with discounted rates available for AWBC members. Sessions can focus on boxing skill development, strength and conditioning, or a combination of both, depending on what you’re looking to achieve.
Private training provides a highly focused learning environment where athletes receive direct coaching, detailed feedback, and customized drills tailored to their needs. Whether you’re new to boxing and looking for extra guidance, an experienced member wanting to refine specific techniques, or someone hoping to build strength and conditioning to support your training, private sessions allow coaches to create a plan that aligns with your goals.
Privates are led by select AWBC coaches with varying availability. Because the training is individualized, coaches can spend more time breaking down technique, correcting movement patterns, and designing drills that help accelerate skill development. Many members use private sessions to build confidence as beginners, strengthen their fundamentals, or focus on specific areas such as footwork, punching mechanics, conditioning, or boxing strategy. Others schedule privates to supplement their regular group classes or to maintain consistent training when their schedule doesn’t align with class times.
Each private session is 55 minutes long and may be shared with a training partner or a small group of friends, making it a flexible option for those who prefer a more personal training setting. Private sessions can be a powerful complement to group classes, but for some athletes, training twice per week through private sessions can also serve as a primary training structure while still supporting meaningful progress.
